There’s something special about a community coming together to explore phone photography in a fun, collaborative, and inspiring way—especially when it’s inside a lush garden biome in the middle of a cold winter!
Last weekend, I hosted a gathering at The Leaf in Winnipeg for a hands-on phone photography meetup open to anyone interested in growing their skills.
Our session included teaching from both ‘Segun and me, where we gave guidance on composition, lenses, developing your creative style and technical iPhone camera tips. But beyond just learning techniques, it was a fun opportunity for everyone to exchange ideas, experiment with their cameras, and get inspired by each other’s discoveries.
There was a great energy to the group and their curiosity for phone photography got me inspired too!
