As I say goodbye to 2024, I’m reflecting on all my iPhone photo adventures and what it taught me the most this year:
just “taking the shot” is always more important than working on taking perfect photos.
No surprise, my phone camera continues to be the best tool to do this with!
Because of my iPhone in my back pocket, I’m always ready to capture a fleeting moment, an interesting view or a story unfolding in front of me.
While my professional photography work focuses on pushing my limits of producing high quality work and producing my clients’ visions beyond their expectations…. my iPhone photography work focuses on pushing the limits of spontaneity and unscrutinized creativity.
Without iPhone photography, I wouldn’t be where I am professionally at this point in my career. I’ve learned to let go of perfection and to lean into art, storytelling and curiosity at a level I never reached before. So, thank you to phone photography – it’s a surprising discovery and I’m loving it.
